Russ has been writing about beer for over five years. He is a contributor to the Brewer’s Association’s CraftBeer.Com website, a columnist in the Brewery Collectibles Club of America magazine in which he covers canned craft beer and the founding author of CraftCans.com, a website that is solely focused on craft beer in cans. It features the only searchable database of every currently canned craft beer as well as news about and reviews of canned craft beer. He has been featured discussing the subject of canned craft beer on NPR’s Marketplace, on the Men’s Health Magazine website and has been quoted in many online and print articles about craft beer in cans. He was chosen as Sly Fox Brewing/Virtual Farm Creative’s “Most Cantacular Person of the Year Award” in 2011. When not writing or talking about beer he can be found Western Massachusetts with his wife Cherie, daughter Elyse and his two troublesome dogs.
