I am the granddaughter of Roy Irvan and Sadie Caroline (Deskins) Pruett. We have an awesome family lineage and my desire was to start this website so our family all have access to heritage and to share pictures, poems and stories and fascinating facts. Along with Ryan Stacy (cousin, son of Paul Brooks and Lucy Ann {Pruett} Stacy, grandson of Roy and Sadie), we have collected 100 years of memorabilia, pictures and details of a family who grew up in deep Appalachia, McDowell County, West Virginia.
