I am a former EA, now retired. I am the widow of Frank Londres, an amazing person who fought a very courageous battle to prostate cancer in Concord and Boston, Massachusetts and Houston, Texas Cancer Institutes. My husband lost his fight after seventeen years and he did many things while undergoing treatment that medical teams and he felt might help those down the road who would find themselves in the same fight. I will forever be proud of him and all he stood for. I hope, as we all do, one day a cure will be found for Cancer. He is missed not only by me but by his loving family and many friends worldwide. He brought the beauty of Gloucester to me during our lifetime and will forever be loved, valued and admired. I am a former US resident who with Frank, lived in Gloucester for two years, 1999-2001 as our love of the Ocean began long before we moved to Gloucester having visited the towns north of Boston frequently on weekend drives and sometimes 'the other Cape'. I've returned for a couple of visits to Gloucester and living in Canada now, I very much enjoy some hobbies such as the American Eagles and Great Blue Heron and I know my husband would have enjoyed the education we glean from these sites. Good Morning Gloucester is like being in touch with home and makes missing the beauty of Massachusetts and what she offered in our 23 years of our lives together, a little easier to bear. We visited many towns and enjoyed people and places and hobbies, like sailing. In memories lasting from places we spent time, as they are still fresh for me today, like Gloucester and Rockport and beautiful Texas, it is easy to hope future pastimes will be fulfilling and may just include simple walks on streets of Gloucester, the shops, the Ocean views, her beaches and even with my fantastic hairdresser, Fatima. Memories of friends, nice people we met, and places we loved is made easier by a site like Good Morning Gloucester. Change is not easy to accept often time but my day by day interests increase with being able to follow the beautiful Bald Headed American Eagles.
