I am an artist seeking to introduce myself and my work to the world. Nothing would delight me more than for someone to appreciate my work enough to say to me, "I love your art so much that I must have some in my life to enjoy." Therefore most of my work is for sale, and price is usually negotiable. I make wall hangings of widely varying sizes, bracelets, free standing floral arrangements using lovely recycled bottles. Where I will go in the future with my art, who knows.....! My passion is continually finding new ways to tie knots into expressions of the visions my mind comes up with. In particular I have been persuing my love of floral representations. All my life I have loved flowers portrayed in all manner of ways. From extreme impressionist, to impasto, to realistic, I love them all. I wear them, I doodle them, and now I strive to express my love of things floral in my macrame works. My pieces are not all of flowers, some are simply flights of fancy and whimsical creations celebrating my love of color, line, and form. I am 61 years old, and have been knotting for nearly 42 years now. For most of those years it was a well loved hobby I used to make presents for those that gave me kindnesses. A kernel of a dream hovered in the background of my mind to someday be recognized as an Artist in something that is known as a craft by most. A craft to me is something one makes many models of over, and over. My works are one of a kind, in fact I take pains to find some new way to tie in each new piece.
