I am simply hülya. Life has given me utmost valuable gifts: A daughter, a grandson and a granddaughter. Friends who are ready and willing to come to my rescue regardless of the level of despair I am in are also in plenitude. They are my cankardeşlerim, what we may call "soul sisters" in English. As for my professional story, I am Liberal Arts Emerita (The Pennsylvania State University); retired or not - a passionate educator with endless enthusiasm to learn; the Director of Inner Child Editing Services; a published writer, and a literary translator between English, German and Turkish. When it comes to my worldview, I am a dedicated and devoted humanist.
