Charles Scott

I am an academic who is interested in dialogue and the roles it can play in education. I teach at SFU in the Faculty of Education and am involved in two M.Ed. programs: The TEFSL program for international teachers of English and the Contemplative Inquiry and Approaches in Education program. I also work with international graduate students in other contexts. I also coordinate an M.Ed. Leadership in Education program at City University. As well, I am interested in the roles artistic and contemplative practices play in developing dialogical orientations. Aside from--well, actually as part of--my academic pursuits, I am interested in artistic expressions, particularly photography, and being in the forests or on the mountains, at just about any time of year.
