Carpe Diem as a professional and personal identity is a code and mantra for my chosen style of sharing both my educational advising wisdom and my personal observations on my experiences on a life that has. Taken me from hard scrabble rural America to a struggling and striving Europe and as far beyond as opportunity offered. My advice to seize days is based on hands on experiences. The bad ones at least as valuable as the good ones. As often as not the bad and good were the same experiences seen through different perspectives. (At the core of absorbing and sharing has been my encounters with the most amazing teachers. From them I’ve learned that real learning is circular, and I learn in equal measures from those I aim to teach. )I write often, enjoy answering questions, and offer answers and observations.
