Widow, caring for 94 year-old mother in my home town. Strange after living in Shanghai for 11 years sharing my faith and nurturing others to walk with Him. I came to a situation of isolation, gardening, housekeeping and care-giving. Father God told me once, during those first months, that He called me here to be in the audience of One. I knew from day one that it was His call and that is why I had the strength to leave such a bountiful life in China. I became a Christian at the age of 9 at Victory Heights Bible Camp near Chadron, Nebraska. I attended Bible college, willing to go to the mission field; then studied to be a nurse (that was my ticket into China years later). My husband was very supportive of missions but did not feel called to be one. We had 4 wonderful children in a somewhat troubled marriage, but Father has and is restoring what the locusts have eaten in all of us. My husband died of MS in 1996, 4 days after the birth of our first grandson. What a gift Elliott was to be given when one was "taken up". 3 years later I went To China. Knowing Jesus is all about relationship with the Creator God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). This relationship was made possible by the substitution of Jesus, totally innocent of any sin and able therefore to take on mine and yours, but then He would have to die. He took on our sin which caused our eventual physical death, our separation from God and our eternal death in the lake of fire. When we put our trust in His death and His resurrection for our sin, He gives us eternal life, full abundant LIFE now and relationship with Him, moment by moment, filled with wisdom and truth and LOVE. My children and their families know this God also.Thank you Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have everlasting LIFE. John 3:16
