I'm a compulsive dreamer. I daydream during the day and full-scale dream at night. The dreams so fill my head that the only bastion between them and my sanity is writing. My first writing was poetry and I now have over 100 of them; romantic, philosophical, comedic, tragic, Christian, childrens rhyming tales, and sheer whimsy. I've written 4 books also and have several outlines and partially completed manuscripts awaiting my further attention. My last novel was "The Wormwood Prophecy" which I completed in the summer of 2008 and am presently working on it's sequel, "The Lost City of Talma". I will be presenting excerpts from both books periodically here. My passions are: Jesus Christ and all matter related to Him; my beautiful wife and best friend; reading; chess; offering advise on subjects in which I have some expertise, IE, the Bible, living, racquetball, soccer, philosophy, and a plethora of other fringe topics. (My wife is fond of saying, "Richard doesn't know everything but he has an opinion on everything!" I have a grown son, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 granddaughter, a stepson, 2 stepdaughters, 2 stepson-in-laws, 2 stepgranddaughters, and 4 stepgrandsons and 3 steps on my back patio.
