Captain Dale Elsa Norley holds a USCG 100-ton license with over 140,000 nm experience including eight transatlantic voyages. She has been a writer for Latitudes & Attitudes magazine since its original conception and a part of the corporate publishing world before turning to yacht delivery full time. Educated at University of Pennsylvania, she is a single mother of two grown daughters, has three grandsons, one granddaughter and is an avid rider and foxhunter. Until recently, she was a singlehander and liveaboard on her Hardin Voyager 44, Estimated Prophet. Recently relocated to Chester County, PA and newly married, Captain Norley continues to deliver vessels from New England to Bermuda and the Caribbean, Southern and Northern Pacific, as well as Transatlantic deliveries. With much catamaran and traditional monohull experience, she brings with her an attention to detail, love of sailing and an extreme respect for the vessels she skippers.
