My name is Cam and I am a husband, pastor, and mediocre theologian. The purpose of this blog is to simply write about theology,movies, music, culture, and everything in between. I have been (and continue to be) greatly influenced by great theologians of the church such as John Wesley and Jacob Arminius. The name "Love Alike" comes from my favorite sermon by John Wesley entitled "Catholic Spirit". The entire quote is "Though we cannot think alike, may we not love alike? May we not be of one heart, though we are not of one opinion? Without all doubt, we may. Herein all the children of God may unite, notwithstanding these smaller differences." It is in this spirit that I intend to manage this blog. I believe much of the church has ignored Wesleys words for the love of simply being "right". Comments that reflect this attitude will not be published here. While conversation and disagreements are certainly allowed, I will insist that all participants are civil and charitable. If you love to flippantly throw around words like "heresy" and "false teacher" to all that you disagree with, you probably won't like it here.
