I am a writer/editor with an extensive background in higher education, healthcare, entertainment and social media, and substantial experience conceptualizing, planning, and editing content for both print publications and the Web. My style is proactive rather than reactive, planning ahead to avoid problems that can lead to project delays and missed deadlines. I am now looking to grow my skills in event planning and marketing, an area in which I have a great deal of interest after earning a Master's in Marketing online.
