I'm Molly McGinn. Buster Dilly is a name I made up. I'm Irish-American. A storyteller, singer-songwriter, craver of creative collaborations, and a Dodge City, Kansas native. A former print journalist, and now, online media advocate, I love helping people find and tell stories. So who'sa Buster Dilly? Buster Dilly is a lyric in a song I wrote, called "Satirical Cyncial Man of Diabolical Intrigue." It's loosely based on the life jazz Eddie Condon. The four-string guitar player was known as a master collaborator and word smith in the era when jazz was crossing color lines and spreading throughout the clubs in Chicago. Condon later ran a night club and wrote a newspaper column from his jazz joint in New York City. The term, Buster Dilly, relates to anything that represents the coming together of great ideas, which in turn, inspires people to feel, think, or act differently than they did before hearing it.
