Muffy Mendoza

Muffy Mendoza is the founder, creative and business woman behind Brown Mamas, a sisterhood that connects thousands of moms with resources, advice and, best of all, each other. She has written and created a line of educational books and products, The Brown Mama Mindset Series, focused on helping Black moms be the gamechangers our communities need. She champions the beauty and complexities of the black mothering experience everywhere she goes, even on the TEDx stage in 2018. That same year, she debuted her very own TEDx-style showcase giving 10 Black moms the opportunity to tell their raw and real stories about Black motherhood on-stage in front of hundreds of people with the, now annual and multi-city, Brown Mama Monologues. A homeschooling mom of three sons for the last 5 years, in 2020 Muffy is stepping into a new calling and passion as she champions a new cause; the liberation of children through self-directed learning, and this is just the beginning.
