I'm a poet, teacher, and horror movie lover. My latest book is Waiting for the Dead to Speak (NYQ Books), winner of the Devil's Kitchen Poetry Prize. I'm also co-editor of Currents in the Electric City: A Scranton Anthology (Belt Publishing) and Down the Doghole: Nine Poets on Pennsylvania. My work has also been published by The Los Angeles Times, World Literature Today, Harpur Palate, Boston Literary Magazine, Kentucky Review, Verse Daily, Spillway, Portland Review, and several other publications. My poetry has also been featured on "The Writer's Almanac" with Garrison Keillor. Currently, I'm an associate professor of English at Lackawanna College. I also write about genre movies for Horror Buzz, 1428 Elm, and various other outlets.
