Hello and thanks for visiting my site for my online bookshoppe Volume VII. My interest in the creative has been present for as long as I can remember. This I believe is attributed to my mom, she is the ultimate craftswoman. I have many fond memories of my sister’s and I around in the kitchen table, assembling Popsicle stick boxes, clothespin angels, building a mini model of the Mayflower, scrap-booking photos and sewing heart-shaped pillows. I live in the beautiful state of Vermont, located in New England. My ‘studio’ dubs as my bedroom and I gather inspiration from a wide range of places ie antiques, books, places from my travels, and other artists. My style I would describe as eclectic vintage mixed with bold statement pieces and soft feminine touches. I enjoy taking found objects and up cycling them; whether an old pin and turning it into a necklace or aged, out-of-date books and making them sketchbooks, travel journals, or scarves in to camera straps. I opened my online bookshoppe Volume VII 29 months ago as another source of income. I encourage anyone wanting to become a small business owner to read the Business Advice on my blog.
