Robert Skrocki is a Unitarian Universalist lay community minister (https://uuscm.org/Sys/PublicProfile/10327659/845397 ) and retired clinical social worker who devotes his time to promoting: • his own mental health and resiliency through holistic mindfulness spiritual practices and participation in one of his local congregation’s spiritual direction groups, • relational skills to walk alongside those marginalized because of their mental illnesses through training congregational members in Companionship (http://www.pathways2promise.org/companionship-series/ ) • mental health ministry development through: o his congregation’s Pastoral Ministry Associates (http://www.dupageuuchurch.org/ministries ) o communications coordination for the Chicago area Interfaith Mental Health Coalition (www.interfaithmhc.org ) o chairing the board for the national interfaith mental health coalition Pathways to Promise (www.pathways2promise.org ) that promotes mental health ministries partnering with different faith traditions all over the country.
