I live in Los Angeles, California USA where I run a small gay-friendly bicycling club called Different Spokes Bicycling Club of Southern California. I ride a Pinarello bike that is worth more than my old car. I've been using Apple Macintosh computers since my first "512K Mac" in 1985. Politically, I am progressive: I believe healthcare is a right, climate change is anthropogenic, a day's work deserves a living wage, we should end endless wars, public college should be free, marijuana should be legal, weapons of war should be banned. The United States Declaration of Independence states "that all men are created equal", but at the time it was written, women, indigenous people and black people were not treated as equals. I believe that women have a right to decide what to do with their own bodies; that indigenous people have a right to protect their sacred lands; and I especially believe that black lives matter.
