Bil Richardson
Bil is an award-winning author and filmmaker with over 100 awards; an artist and nationally recognized historian. He has written, produced and directed feature films, TV series, documentaries, commercials and shorts. His movies have been featured in film festivals in 25 countries on six continents. He has published fiction and non-fiction via Random House and others. His books include adult fiction, children’s books, humor and graphic novels. He has appeared on numerous shows including American Pickers, CBS Sunday Morning, Mysteries at the Museum, America: Fact or Fiction, CBS This Morning, PBS’s American Experience and NPR’s All things Considered. He’s been quoted in hundreds of newspapers including the New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post and London Daily Mail. His documentaries are being used as teaching tools at Carnegie Mellon, UC Berkeley, Marquette and many other prestigious universities. His work has been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and is in the U.S. Library of Congress holdings. He has been an actor in internationally released feature films and a featured speaker all over the U.S. and in Europe. Bil is a Professor Emeritus at West Virginia University and member of the Horror Writers Association.
