Frank Senior rants, lilts, ruminates and celebrates life and times present, past and future. It is offered for anyone to read but is primarily very private and personal, being written in order to be honest and explore my own thoughts and feelings. Retiring aged sixty-three I left it a year until, autumn 2012, before beginning this blog on the life and thoughts today. My working life was spent as a secondary school and university teacher, a journalist in newspapers and television, and a documentary and current affairs film maker. My life was devoted to my wife of thirty years and my two daughters, and my reading, and so it remains. I have now retired to my beloved rural Lincolnshire where I was born, and a sometime idyllic rural life dictated by the rhythms of the seasons and the countryside. This blog is one retiree still burning bright in the supposed dying (or even slowly dimming) of the light.
