I'm a retired English professor, last employed as an Adjunct in the English Department, Pace University, New York. I got my start in Richmond, Virginia, a long time ago--graduated with the B.A. in French from Westhampton College (University of Richmond) and the M.A. in English from the University of Virginia. I lived and taught in Virginia before I followed my wanderlust to copywriting assignments first in Houston, then in Los Angeles, and finally in New York, where I've been living since 199-something or other. A long time, now. I taught here for several years in the English Department at Pace University, and now am spending a lot of time marveling at this city and trying to get some of that wonder down for others.
