Angie is the author of WHERE THE RIVER GRINS, a local history book for kids used in Evansville, Indiana schools and THE LEGENDARY R.A. COWBOY JONES. This is a biography about a 70 year old jockey who is still racing. She is the founder and host of RhyPiBoMo (Rhyming Picture Book Month) held first in April 2014. This is an annual event for children's rhyming picture book and poetry writers. As a presenter at conferences, civic group meetings, classrooms, teacher workshops and libraries, Angie shares humorous anecdotes about her years of working with kids and how integrating rhyme, poetry, and using silly storytelling antics in the classroom can create a love of stories and books. Her presentation Castles, Cabins, and Barnyards: If you Build it...They will Learn is a hands-on approach to early childhood storytelling and role-play activities. Angie is the creator of StoryChorus, an interactive form of storytelling where the kids and kids at heart become part of the story through rhythm, sounds, and voices.
