Hi, I’m Amiee a wife, mom, teacher, and forever mother to my daughter, Katy. My life has been shaped by both deep love and heartbreaking loss. I became a young widow with two small children after losing my first husband, and before that, I lost my sweet Katy at just six years old following complications from a heart transplant. Through unimaginable grief, I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean forgetting it means finding grace within the pain and choosing hope again and again. Now remarried to my amazing husband Jarrod, I’m continuing my journey of growth and healing through EMDR therapy and honest storytelling. Grace in the Grief is where I share that journey the moments of heartbreak, hope, and healing that remind me we can still find light, even in the darkest places. 🤍
