Allia Zobel Nolan is an internationally-published, award-winning author of over 150 children’s and adult trade titles. Her books reflect her two main passions, God and cats, and include such varied titles as The Worrywart's Prayer Book: 40 Help Me Get a Grip God Meditations and Prayers, a 2023 first place Indie award winner; The Ten Commandments for Little Ones, Cat Confessions: a Kitty Come Clean Tell All book, winner of the 2022 ECPA Bronze Award, The Joy of Being Single and The Joy of Being 50+, illustrated by New Yorker Cartoonist, Roz Chast; Heavenly Headbutts: Reflections of Hope about Cats and Eternity, and the classic children's self-esteem title, What I Like bout Me. Among other places, her work has also been featured in The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Irish Independent News, Forbes on line, The Hartford Courant, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Times. A former journalist and columnist, Zobel Nolan held the position of senior editor for religious books at Reader’s Digest Children’s Publishing for nine years. She currently writes both religious and trade book for various houses.
