Alison Gitelson
Alison works with people to help them make the most out of their interactions with others – whether as leaders, team members or in personal relationships. As an entertaining speaker and empathetic coach she inspires others to succeed on their own terms. Her working life began as an optometrist and was followed by careers in IT, consulting and transformation. She combines her 25 years of experience in business with continuous study of wellness, spirituality and human behaviour. She is also a volunteer counsellor for Headway, an organisation that supports people with brain injuries. Alison has been interviewed on radio and TV and featured in Women & Home magazine. She is a contributor to a number of online publications and a member of Toastmasters International, Women in Finance and the International Coach Federation - Gauteng Chapter. Her vision is for a world in which people have tolerance and respect for others, communicate effectively and are equipped to ‘be the very best they can be’: a world in which employees and their managers, enjoy working together in productive harmony.
