Military officer of senior rank ( MA in War Studies); 30 years on the Active List, now retired with a War-Disability Pension. Staunch High-Anglican for over sixty years, three years as a student at a Church of England College. Retired Lay-Reader. Retired Churchwarden. Regular worshipper at St Edmundsbury Cathedral for some 38 years.
