I am a Calvinist! I believe Calvinism is Christianity. I believe the system known as Calvinism is pure Scriptural truth. When I got saved on 7th March, 1987, I knew nothing about Calvinism. I was raised Roman Catholic, so it would be true to say I was a rank Arminian, because that is what Roman Catholicism teaches - regardless of what they try to tell you. In Christian theology, you are either an Arminian, or you are a Calvinist. It was GOD who settled the Doctrines of Grace, known by the acronym TULIP, in my heart. These are the words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on this: 1. TOTAL INABILITY or TOTAL DEPRAVITY-- "No man can come to me unless the Father who sent Me draws him." John 6:44 2. UNCONDITIONAL ELECTION-- "You have not chosen Me but I have chosen you." John 15:16 3. LIMITED ATONEMENT-- " I am The Good Shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the Sheep." John 10:11 4.IRRESISTIBLE GRACE-- "All that the Father gives shall come to me." John 6:37 5. PERSEVERANCE OF THE SAINTS--"They will never perish." John 10:28 "Who shall bring any charge against Gods elect? It is God who justifies." (Romans 8:33)
