I am a single guy living and working as a software engineer in northern Virginia -- about 30 minutes from Washington, D.C. (United States). I grew up in the Ozark Mountains and left home at 18. I've traveled much of the United States and world and I plan to travel, write,and photograph again when I retire. I love to drink beer with my friends, cooking, reading, writing poetry, and studying history. I love sight seeing around Washington, D.C. and discovering something new each time.
