I am a 47 year old law enforcement officer in the rural midwest. I have been an officer for 23 years, almost half my life. The job and its perception in public have changed drastically since I began my career. I still love it, I wouldn't be happy doing anything else. I would like to see a better understanding between the public and the police that serve them. Maybe I can help, through this blog.
